Colorado District Expands Online Learning Support

Ninth grader Luke Eddington, 15, completes a glow stick lab Sept. 12 at Falcon Virtual Academy in Colorado Springs. The kindergarten-twelfth grade multidistrict public school had just opened its new 21,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility, which tripled its physical space and increased its Internet bandwidth. The academy’s students will benefit from more one-and-one and small group tutoring, lessons and labs. Construction of an art studio and science lab is expected to finish during the students’ fall break.
