Notre-Dame Basilica

The Coronation of the Virgin portion of Notre-Dame Basilica’s sanctuary Sept. 1 in the historic district of Old Montreal in Quebec. Positioned in the upper section of the altarpiece, Christ crowns his mother into heaven, after conquering death through resurrection. Located at 110 Notre-Dame Street West, the basilica is world renown for its Gothic Revival architecture, one of the most dramatic in the world.
