Colorado Educators Talk With Top Innovation Leader, Author

Donald Begier, Falcon School District 49 executive director for education services, speaks to District 49 teachers and principals Aug. 1, ahead of a Skype meeting with Tony Wagner, a pioneering author of ideas about the future of education, at Sand Creek High School in Colorado Springs. Hundreds of educators from District 49 had gathered for a back-to-school message from the leader in innovative education. Wagner has published numerous articles and books, including “Creating Innovators: The Making of Young People Who Will Change The World” and “The Global Achievement Gap: Why Even Our Best Schools Don’t Teach the New Survival Skills Our Children Need – and What We Can do About It.”
