Apache Battalion Prepares for Battle

Sgt. Chris Maxwell, Company D, 1st Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, inserts belts of 30 mm bullets into an AH-64D Apache helicopter Oct. 12, prior to gunnery exercises at Fort Carson, Colo. Maxwell was equipping Apache pilots for 13 gunnery scenarios that evaluate attack helicopter teams.
